    Works great

I would caution against over-tightening the set screw, but these work great for the 8mm lead screws.

Great for adding tension to Acme thread rods. Helps remove whip on long rods.

    Lead Screw Tension Nuts

Posted by Bill Blades on undefined

Love these! I was able to replace the 8mm shaft collars with these much more appropriate tension nuts to keep lead screw end play in check. Can't believe I didn't see these before, but I'm so glad to have them now! Very nice quality machining & fit with generous size set screw.

    Went right on

    Posted by Matthew on undefined

It went on great. I don't have a motor hooked to the other side yet so I couldn't seat it properly yet but it still holds the lead screw nicely
