Description

Cherry is known as being one of the best all-around woods for workability. It is stable, straight-grained, and machines well. Is perfectly suited for CNC router machining or laser cutting/engraving and very popular for signs, trays or any project needing a beautiful natural wood.

Its heartwood is a light pinkish brown when freshly cut, and it darkens to a medium reddish brown over time and with exposure to sunlight. It is a highly durable wood and easy to work on straight grain sections.ÿ It glues, stains, and finishes well, but it is recommendedÿto use a sanding sealer prior to staining or a gel-based stain to prevent blotchiness.
